I do not want to have to reformat my computer again I know that is the easy way around this issue. I want to work my way through this issue. You can simply click past the error, but when you try to install windows, you'll get an error that it's in the wrong partition style. You can create the bootable USB drive, it's just telling you that you won't be able to install windows unless you decide to do that. If not, you will receive waring message in Boot Camp Assistant.
You will likely have to install Windows 10 without the benefit of the BootCamp installer. Which means that you will have to create a bootable Windows 10 USB installer.
If I recall correctly Microsoft will allow you to do exactly that with a Windows 10 download. Once that is created you should be able to boot the Mac from the Windows 10 installer and install it on the desired partition.
Once that is done you can get the actual Windows drivers out of the Boot Camp installer and install them manually. This is all going from supposition and doesn't take into account that you also want to boot Linux. From a very basic level the procedure I have outlined above should work.
A Windows Installer should be able to boot a Mac and then should see the available partitions and install on the one you want. A few folks here might have some experience with doing it this way and might be able to help, but it will likely be a bumpy path filled with boot managers, re-partititioning and the general tearing of hair that is involved when anyone attempts doing things non-standard with a Mac. Not trying to discourage you, just pointing out that, if you succeed, it may take a while and you may end up with a configuration that you started out not being thrilled about.
Not completely the answer as this fix works with Boot Camp. But it fixes the problem: I cannot seem to get past this step. I've found these solutions on google, currently trying to get it to work, thing is my usb key is still a 4gig so I doubt it will let me do it right?
Please read the whole thing to understand the situation properly, in the 2nd link I posted you helped someone in my situation to bootcamp without a usb key.
Your situation is different. Is there a program that could replace what this one did. I've ran into an error sadly, windows is installed with this method currently and when I start it, it loads and I get a blue screen saying inaccessable boot device. I've tried recloning the virtual image at different point in time such as cloning the imagine when it's about to restart the first time like recommended by the guide you gave me.
I've also tried installing all windows update then cloning this windows. Sadly, I get the same error and it's most likely a windows error at that point than a mac error so I doubt you'd be able to help me to get it to work. I'm going to try getting a windows 7 iso next to clone on the partition, possibly that will work since the guide was made for windows 7 and some have commented to have success with windows 8 but none have commented about windows The only think I'm unsure about is the fact that the windows 7 would be a cracked version so I'm not sure if it'll work since it sometimes needs additional files to crack the iso.
Probably shouldn't mention this here since it's the official apple site but oh well. So I've just tried to do it with windows 7 and I get a different error ughhhh, when the mac boots on the windows partition the screen goes black and won't do anything which is probably because I don't have the right drivers which I have downloaded on the usb card but can't install until I get in the desktop of windows 7 right?

If this occurs, you will need to open Task Manager and kill the RealtekSetup. Install and run SharpKeys and then configure the following mappings to correct your Mac keyboard so that it behaves like a regular Windows keyboard:.
Paste the following into a file named Enable NumLock on Boot. As such, I recommend purchasing a Logitech or similar mouse for use in Windows. The safest way to delete these partitions is through the Windows installer. So simply boot from your USB stick as we did before and when you reach the Where do you want to install Windows?
Once done, simply quit the installer by clicking the X in the top right corner of each Window and reboot back into OS X. Even though we have removed the Windows partition, a boot entry will still be present when holding down option alt during boot.
Kill the virtual machine as soon as it reboots the first time after finishing the installation, stopping Windows before being able to configure itself. Use the virtualization software's features to mount the virtual harddrive. Install a tool called WinClone. If your virtual drive is mounted, WinClone should be able to see this in the tab 'Image'. Pull this into an image onto your harddrive. Now choose the 'Restore' tab in WinClone and restore this image to your Bootcamp partition.
Now you can reboot and boot into your Bootcamp partition with rEFIt, which is no longer of any use from this point on, but you can keep it around as well. Windows should now continue configuring itself and finish the installation.

So for safety, make the FAT partition a little larger, a gigabyte should definitely suffice. I have to comment that only some Macs with optical drives are not able to boot from USB.
